What is a Studio Apartment?

Studio apartments, as the name suggest are apartments which looks like a complete Studio. Studio Apartments are typically single room apartments which combines the Bedroom, Living room and Kitchen space under the same floor space. There are no separate partition or doors for each of these areas. They are typically demarcated from each other with some visible space.

Why would anyone own or rent a Studio Apartment?

Studio apartments have recently picked up trend among people who love to live a minimalistic lifestyle as such apartment usually accommodate stuffs which are just what is needed to live minimally. These are often loved by Bachelors, Freelancers who would like to spend time in a home office like environment. Such apartments are also owned and rented by frequent business travelers who are required to travel frequently to another city on short term basis.

Why would you not own or rent a Studio Apartment?

It all depends on your lifestyle. If you are not living as a single person in the Apartment, then you might want to have privacy with separate rooms. Additionally if you are person who usually invite friends to the apartment as guests (not the college going bachelors who would love to accommodate within the same room), then you might want to have a larger space with more amenities such as Sofa in the living room and beds in the bedrooms, etc.
